How a wrinkle occurs

As we age, the hyaluronic acid in the skin diminishes as cells lose their ability to produce it. As a result, the skin becomes drier, thinner and less able to restore itself after squeezing or indentation. The loss of skin fullness also means that the skin becomes looser causing an older appearance of the skin.

For the treatment of wrinkles or folds, hylauronic acid is injected into the skin in small amounts with a very fine needle. The injected gel gives natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. The results can be seen immediately. Treating wrinkles with hylauronic acid is fast and safe and leaves no scars or other traces on the face.

Will I benefit from a Dermal Filler?

Dermal fillers are great for treating naso labial lines (those between the nose and mouth), marionette lines (smile lines in the corners of the mouth) and depressions and blemishes.
