IPL Hair Removal

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is recognised as the most effective hair removal system available for you today. IPL provides long term hair reduction to give you smooth and silky skin on all parts of your body. This can include the chin, upper lip, cheeks, legs, arms, underarms and back, as well as sensitive areas such as the ears, nose, chest and bikini line.

Why choose IPL and not Laser?

Unlike laser which has a single wavelength of light, IPL uses charges of pulsed white light. The advantage of this, is that large areas can be treated quickly and adjusted according to your individual skin-type and hair colour.  This means that we can increase the efficiency of the treatment and ensure optimum results for you.

How It Works

Highly controlled pulses of light are transmitted through a cooled sapphire glass prism onto the skin. A large area is treated with just a single pulse rendering hundreds of hair follicles immediately useless and unable to reproduce. This makes the treatment extremely fast and super efficient.

Follicles that are actively producing hair growth at the time of treatment can be completely destroyed but dormant follicles will require further sessions. Treatments need to be performed on UNTANNED skin and at six to ten weekly intervals to reduce the hair growth by around 85%.
