Smoothing wrinkles
How a wrinkle occurs
As we age, the hyaluronic acid in the skin diminishes as cells lose their ability to produce it. As a result, the skin becomes drier, thinner and less able to restore itself after squeezing or indentation. The loss of skin fullness also means that the skin becomes looser. All in all, these factors lead to wrinkling and an older appearance of the skin.
For the treatment of wrinkles or folds, hylauronic acid is injected into the skin in small amounts with a very fine needle. The injected gel gives natural volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. The results can be seen immediately. Treating wrinkles with hylauronic acid is fast and safe - and leaves no scars or other traces on the face.
